We develop sustainable volunteer programs that aim to raise social awareness among young people.

Our work promotes open communication and cooperation among social organizations, local citizens, and volunteers from all over the world.

Volunteers have the option of either a community or a professional based programme. Working in the community can range from serving in soup kitchens in Buenos Aires’ colourful La Boca district to helping children diagnosed with HIV at an after school help centre. Professional programmes are just as diverse, with opportunities to work as part of the marketing team to being part of a local radio show, researching topics of discussion and being live on air during the week. Working hours for volunteers vary depending on the programme selected and the majority lasting for one to three months, although dates can be flexible. Why Voluntario Global?

Voluntario Global’s balance of working and living South America make it one of the most unique experiences around. All volunteers have the opportunity to live in the central house on Avenida de Mayo, in the heart of Buenos Aires, or with a porteno (Buenos Aires local) in order to get an authentic Argentinean experience. The vibrant community of volunteers, together with good organisation from the team, means there are often nights out, allowing everyone to taste Buenos Aires’ vibrant social life. Being based in the Argentinean capital allows volunteers to maximise their free time in the city; whether it’s a local tango club, a day trip to Uruguay or an excursion to the stunning Iguazu Falls; there are plenty of opportunities to be found. Spanish lessons can also be purchased at a very reasonable rate with VG. Crucially, donations requested by the organisation are fair to all, with all support either going to local communities or the up keep of the organisation.
